The role of a school social worker is to provide support and assistance with any social, emotional, or mental health concern that a student or family is experiencing.
Talking, listening, developing coping strategies, and providing helpful practices are all part of a social worker’s playbook. Students face fear and anxiety, and it’s our goal to help them work through issues and become stronger and more confident along the way.
I am in and out of the classrooms daily, conduct class activities as well as private sessions, and strive to have the students recognize me as an approachable, positive resource. All conversations are private and confidential, except if there is a threat to the student or others. Consent is required in order for me to address a student on an ongoing basis.
I am here at St. Patrick's Monday - Friday, 7:30 - 2:30. My email is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and my extension is 329. If you have concerns or questions, please feel free to reach out.
