RECONCILIATION/CONFESSIONS

The Sacrament of Reconciliation offers the opportunity for a Catholic person to receive forgiveness for sins they have committed.

God's forgiveness has been offered through Jesus Christ and extended to His Church by priests asking the forgiveness of God upon a Catholic person. Jesus Christ began this Sacrament of Healing for all sinful members of his Church.

RECONCILIATION (Confession) SCHEDULE

Reconciliation is held on Saturday afternoons from 4:00 - 4:45, Monday nights from 7:15-7:45 pm, and  Eves of First Friday and holy days from 4:00-4:45 pm.  At other times, please feel free, and most welcome, to make an appointment with one of the priests.

FIRST RECONCILIATION/PENANCE

Here at St. Patricks Church, we celebrate the first sacramental confession prior to First Holy Communion (2nd grade). Children enrolled in St. Patrick’s Elementary School or the Faith Formation Program are prepared for this sacrament as part of the preparation for First Holy Communion. Please contact Faith Formation at 631.385.3311 Ext. 350 or the School Office, 631-385-3322 ext 252/253 for further information.

Baptized adults who have not received communion and reconciliation should contact the Rectory Office for more information regarding our RCIA program.
